Communal Works
The Integral Development Association of Rancho Quemado (ADIRQ) was established on November 11, 1989. Since then, it has managed numerous projects that have transformed the community.

Projects before 2012
- Opening of the road from Vanegas to Rancho Quemado
- Construction of the Catholic church
- Construction of the old community hall
- Construction of the school
- Construction of the old log bridge over the Riyito River
- Construction of the old police station
- Construction of the town square
- Construction of the aqueduct
- Electricity application (achieved in 2003)
- Construction of the medical visits house
- Construction of the sports kitchen
Projects 2012 to present
- Design and construction of the Osa Trail, services, and parking
- Sports plaza lighting
- Marketing and promotion of the ADIRQ rural tourism network
- Construction of the ADIRQ Library and meeting room
- Construction of the ADIRQ warehouse
- Construction of basketball court, locker rooms, roofing, lighting, kitchen, and bleachers (multipurpose hall)
- Construction of the new bridge over the Riyito River
- Installation of perimeter fencing at the sports plaza
- Design and construction of the Sensory Trail Phase I
- Construction of the biological monitoring nursery
- ICT tourism declaration for ADIRQ as a receptive travel agency “Corazón de Osa”

Iluminación de la Plaza de Deportes
Proyecto de instalación de iluminación en la plaza de deportes de Rancho Quemado, gestionado ante el ICE.
Construcción de Biblioteca y Sala de Reuniones ADIRQ
Biblioteca comunal y sala de reuniones para la Asociación de Desarrollo Integral.
Cancha de Básquet Techada y Salón Multiuso
Construcción de cancha de básquetbol, camerinos, techado, iluminación, cocina y graderías.
Construcción de Puente Nuevo sobre Río Riyito
Nuevo puente que reemplazó la estructura antigua de troncos sobre el río Riyito.
Sendero Sensorial (I Etapa)
Sendero diseñado para la educación ambiental y la experiencia sensorial de visitantes.
Vivero de Monitoreo Biológico
Vivero para la propagación de especies endémicas y amenazadas de la zona.
Biological Monitoring Committee
A group of 8 locals trained by MINAET to monitor the flora and fauna of Rancho Quemado.
